Doc. I didn't know this smart card nonsense still existed. As someone who was always ahead with this, back in the mid 90's satellite dishes were actually illegal where I live. I proudly had mine on the roof, knowing the cops could take it away. I bought the whole thing for over 1000$ in the back room of an electronic store. I had to get a US address through a postal service where I went every month to get my dish network bill. Got a card with unlimited access for 500$. Took about a month for Dish to find out, and a skull and crossbones showed up on the screen. If I didn't remove it they would fry my system with a signal. The good old days. I've been doing this for years, till I discovered you and firestick. It's been a joy so far.

These big corporate companies need to start lower there prices, then maybe iptv would stop. Me & others the UK are screwed over by sly & virmin media , just to watch premier league football. No wonder people look to other alternatives

I only use free “official” sources that you have or had on your channel. I find that this is all I need. I also have a plex server running on my Shield and watch and DVR local over the air tv stations via a HomeRun tuner and this also works fine for me. You do a great job of keeping us in the know so to speak and I thank you for that! To answer your question about price, if the cost was $7.00 for good selection then I would do that also but keep my other official free services to make sure I had choices. Thanks again for all your hard work for us!

I remember many years ago one of my neighbours had a video sender that broadcast the content of his box all around the house. All you needed to do was tune your TV into the signal using UHF. It was used to provide multi room before there was multi room. The only thing was the signal could be picked up in a quarter mile radius but you could only watch what he was watching.

Heck yes, $7/month would be definitely worth it. Even if was $50/ month would be worth it fir cable services. Even if the legal(verified) streaming services would be a better option if they offered more premium channels.

I literally get 1000's of channels for my money from every corner of the globe. This also includes films and box sets on demand. How can you put a price on that, no one can offer access to ALL series/movies across all channels and streaming services. Get serious.

Although I'm in America, all these big 1PȚV shutdowns concern me because i ů$ė a $v© in Europe. I love it & hope i don't lose it. 🤞🏻 & again, YES, if cable were "reasonably" priced I'd use them since its easy & I like the channel guide for every channel. UNFORTUNATELY, they & the networks are SOFA-KING GREEDY, I dont think they'll EVER charge a REASONABLE price for their services.

The local networks are also charging exorbitant fees that are passed on to the customer from cable in the form of broadcast fees. Something that is free with an antenna the networks add to the cost of cable service.
