It's great. More people to talk about the games with and what they liked or didn't like about it after they ACTUALLY played it. If Halo does get a PS port, it could bring in a large group of players into the multiplayer space and more fans of Halo. Also, based on the Xbox marketing campaign of "This is an Xbox"... that would mean a PlayStation is an Xbox.

I think that exlusives make sense for first party studios, but exclusives from third party developers is some bullshit. With that said, if Xbox wants to port some exclusives to Playstation, that's fine, but It would be MORE fine if Playstation did the same with some of their IP to keep a level playing field (Sony would never though)

If fable is ready, why they are waiting for almost a year? For exclusives, Im ok if the old games go to other platforms. Playstation does the same, after 2 years, and for Spiderman 2 after a year, got pc releases. The game needs to be sold if you want to see more consoles and benefits from your system. Thats how these companies work. The game needs to make money so we can eat better. I said it before, I dont care who plays what, as long as I got the good games, and I wont need to pay $70 for every single of them, comes to me with gamepass, I m ok with that..

I think they'll be okay with xbox getting a 5 year old game whilst they get ALL of Xbox IP's like Gears and Halo! Xbox as a console is in it's twilight years looking at their declining sales and you'd have to be crazy to pick up the next console over PS5/6 with no exclusives. Xbox will become a Tencent which will make Microsoft a lot of money but it's hardly exciting as a console fan.

Gamepass does not push more people to buy Xbox’s. If it did they would already be selling a lot. Them putting all their flagship games over there would tell EVERYONE they can invest in PlayStation and never miss a game unlike Xbox. Sure they have to pay for it, but gamers have been paying for their games forever. They console with Spider-Man, Wolverine and Blade is going to sell way easier. People want to see Xbox compete with Sony. These moves are completely giving the market to PlayStation.

Honestly, i doubt Microsoft will release 10 games like this on this year alone (even more so being 2 Gears of War games in the same year - unless they want to hook Playstation players with the remakes and keeping the new one as exclusive?🤔)! But if they manage to do this, it will be incredible, imagine, almost one game per month! 😍💚 I wish we see more about Hollow Knight Silk Song and Replaced! I was thinking that if Square remake all their old successful RPGs with the same approach as FF7 Remake, they would make a ton of money! All the old Final Fantasy, Chrono Trigger, Xenogears, Front Mission, FF Tactics, Parasite Eve, Vagrant Story, Saga Frontier, Dragon Quest, etc... And look, these were just the ones i remembered and i only mentioned excellent RPGs here. A real gold mine and they don't even need to stop developing new games and they can still use the same FF R engine for that!!

5 years ago, I was telling Ponies that Final Fantasy 7 Remake parts and other future Final Fantasy games would release on Xbox eventually. 6 years ago, i even told people that we're gonna get Final Fantasy XIV on Xbox and got hate for it. Never. Sony still values selling hardware. They don't see much overlap in the console and PC market, and with Xbox on their last legs as far as being a hardware manufacturer goes Sony definitely doesn't want to help them out in any way.

If you think about it he making the already established 3rd party franchise go multiplat and most of the games from Activision and Bethesda go 3rd party because he wants to acquire more publishers and developers to avoid the ftc, after they experienced from the recent ftc case. I only believe like half the things that he say. Let's look for one I don't believe their remaking gears are worth 1 again. What's most likely happening? Is they're making the second one. As a remastered,/remake in the third one bundling the ultimate edition. And if they make a legacy collection 2 I don't see gears or eBay coming out this year. I think it's gonna be a launch title. Or a cross Gen. Title for next year. Probably an early release like they did with gears. 5 I believe it came out in March when it came out playground games, though i believe could come out this year, December seems really far. Gears better not go over to playstation. If so then I'm done with xbox I'm out and moving over to playstation. That's the only game literally worth having a xbox for. I play we'll see Gears of War 1 2 3 and 4 and Gears of War judgment done in Unreal Engine 5 and comes out before Gears of War 6.

@@lindihoxhaj4095 ​​⁠the next Xbox coming 2026 will be a hybrid console/PC with magnitudes more power, capabilities, and versatility than the PS5 Pro, and it will enable you to have multiple storefronts such as Steam, GoG, Epic, etc. So you'll have all Xbox games (Stalker 2 etc.), Game Pass, PC games and ALL PS games released on PC.

Honestly at this point, Xbox bringing these games over doesn’t matter to me, and I’ve been an Xbox only guy since 2006. Switched to PC in 2020. Im excited for there Xbox/PC hybrid console but I probably wouldn’t buy it. If they released an Xbox handheld, I’d buy that though. I’m all in on PC because it has everything

Here's the thing, all you have to do is look at the sales numbers, nobody's buying the Xbox. This past Black Friday and holiday season My local Walmarts and targets and my local Best buy was selling PS5s like crazy, they honestly couldn't keep them in stock because of how good of a deal the console was with the discount. My local Best buy had a stack of Xbox series x consoles at the beginning of Black Friday and up until 2 weeks ago 90% of it was still there. Xbox wants to stay in gaming, Microsoft wants to stay in the business of video games, because it is profitable. But if nobody's buying the consoles they have to do something to make money, games don't just get made for free. So the solution they come up with is to release their classic games across platforms, hell we might even see them on the new switch when it comes out, wouldn't that be crazy?

As long as I get the opportunity to buy those games on Xbox, I'm good. *_Especially_* if they are Play Anywhere titles as well. Just like almost all Square Enix games are when they drop on Xbox. If Square Enix keeps this up, they will be a contender for my favorite publisher in just a few years!

@BrotherKnowledge. once Square Enix calculates the cost of putting a game on xbox and the amount of people that DON'T buy it but constantly bug them about putting games on gamepass they'll see its just not worth it. I have a ps5 and a series x and the games on xbox are just boring, I don't play repetitive annually released sports games, I don't play the even more repetitive annually released call of duty games, Gears is old and boring, fable is overrated, Halo is old. Sorry but xbox is dead and the few, the very few games that are somewhat decent on xbox will at some point come to playstation and I may play them there on the better console

at this point, i don't care if halo goes multiplatform if that means halo as a franchise is saved and becomes good and popular again. they have mostly ruined one of my favorite franchises.

If the game stinks it doesn't matter how many platforms its available on. The multiplayer from halo infinite was awful. I played it for about a week and then never again.
