Next time protect the inside of the gearbox with plastic wrap (garbage bag and scotch tape) and you will not risk having aluminium shavings everywhere.

Quick question, why did you choose that specific clutch? Wasn't the trans from a 1.8 car?

EcotecMiata sets up their billet flywheel for a 1.6 cluch because it's lighter. If I upgrade to it in future I won't have to replace the clutch. Good catch!

⁠​⁠​⁠@@mostlyuselessgarageI think you can pretty much do it with zero upfront cost now by suppling the designs. I should say I’ve never bought anyone’s merch. I have dumped about 9k into my $1500 Miata so far just replacing anything and everything that’s worn and then the basics to pass inspection at a track, drift day. Moss delivery came in today with 2 new manual window regulators and the R spec tie rods ends that I already replaced with the normal ones before I learned about these
