I think it should be "normal practice" to have the lofts on the irons.

Decathlon have dabbled in the ebike market. Just recently they have brought out a new model ( higher price) but with a design that has left the big players in shock.

Just getting back into the game after many years out. First thing I’ve noticed is how much the tech has advanced, it’s unreal. I picked up a set of Ping eye 2 for $100 and I’m all over it now. Loving the channel mate. 👍

I had the older inesis 500 irons when I first started playing golf 3 years ago, only got rid of them as the more I got into the game I hated looking down at the offset of them.

I have a number of Inesis clubs and have not seen any quality issues. Don’t forget they also do 2 sizes and different swing speeds plus left and right handed

I solely not buy these because of the " jacked lofts". I like a 7 iron at 31 deg, not 28 deg. I have a set of the 2021 Inesis 500 irons, I mistakenly bought the size 1 so were 1 inch shorter than standard. It took 3-4 rounds to realize this. I just bought 3 more shafts and pulled all the shafts put the 7I to the PW then worked up the set. I would advise to go the the 2021 version on lofts alone. Also check the swing weights as the come C8 I set my irons to D2

I bought a set of clubs second hand. Bought the Nike vr pro combo because I wanted to try some blades but not have blades all across. Paid cirka 200£ and I will easy get that back for them. Playing second hand is great as soon as you know what typ of shafts you want.😊

Had the 500 irons when I got back into golf rather the mizuno combo set I used to use. Went back to the mizunos as I could get over the offset and weird offset but they just went too far! I needed an extra wedge or two to bridge the top end

You have said a few times that 5 iron should be max in a set, what are the options after that, i am from the day of 1 and 2 irons, although my longest iron is now a 4. Also are players getting better with the changes in the make up of their bag.
@francoisdesmoulins-lebeaul42738 ай бұрын
I don't know if they'll sell it separately, but I feel like a 5 iron will be a nice driving iron to be after my 4 iron (make it make sense!) and before my 4 wood.

I am using an older Inesis Driver 10.5 in 43.5 inches. Bought it three years ago for 35€ Still satisfied with it!! I also use the 3 Hybrid as well from them!! maybe you could try their 900 series out but they are 699€ for 5-pw? Not sure who will buy those? I saw the 500 series is on sale for 229€ now here in Germany. Cool review Simon!!

Haha, “driving” iron! That 5 is a monster, but can an amateur with avg. swing speed hit it? Nice looking clubs, great price, but with the strong lofts, who are these clubs for?

I'm in the US. Can't find any Inesis products here except for the boxed sets.😺

Wow that is strong lofts, my P730 3 iron is 21° 😂, but it’s good to see another iron set at a sensible price! 👍🏻

Dinked clubs will not bother some people. Just had a guy call me a loser for using iron head covers. Not the first to say so. Irons are supposed to look beat up apparently.

Lofts are JACKED!! Great video. Nice swing! Why use a driver?

In the US we use the phrase "Buy once, cry once", and it is true a surprising amount of the time.

I payed £599 for a set of Wilson Dynapower forged, 5-GW 2024 edition, better value and will hold value better. 7 iron is 30.5 so not over jacked
@conalsands47488 ай бұрын
That's a great price ,were they new? I'm actually still looking at the DP irons and yes I know the 7 is 27° and the 5 is like 21° but I cannot find a set with the GW anywhere, I already have the D7 forged so I will keep them for now but the set you got was actually cheaper than the cast iron DP sets out there
@Pud568 ай бұрын
Yes they were new, online prices are that in the Uk

Simon, your video analysis is spot on! I really appreciated your deep dive into the value and performance of these irons, especially your discussion on quality control and potential performance risks. Also, big thumbs up for suggesting the second-hand option - it seems like a smart way to save some money while minimizing risks. Your video made me realize the importance of doing thorough research before picking up a new set of clubs. Looking forward to more insightful content like this. Keep it up! 🏌♂👍
