Nice job. I would love to make one of these if I had chickens. All you need now is a chain on the nesting box doors so you don't have to prop them up with your leg as you are gathering the eggs.

That is AWESOME. That should take care of your cannibalism issue. To keep your bedding in the boxes when you open the nesting boxes you could take some thin plywood an inch or two high and that will save on bedding falling out that direction. You did an great job designing and building it, it will last a long long time.
