Currently, eyeing the vivo for a few months now & with its newer successor is just around corner. That would (hopefully) lead to more price drops in a few months. Hopefully, it would be updated with shooting with higher framerates in motioncam. This updates is quite a nice addition. Especially now, the CN roms got updated with the new camera mode.

hi bro, I have a question, Have you ever tried to shoot the X100 Pro with the SSD plugin? I am curious because I am in the market of x100 pro and curious to know if it can save directly to the SSD. Thanks!

Hey, do you actually have an example of video shot on the xperia 1 V with MC? if not can you tell me how good it is? Or would you say that for video with MC definitely look for a different phone?

@@muziektelevisie I haven't posted anything yet, I'm actually currently editing some video examples from the Vivo. If you give me some time, I can get some Xperia ones too. Sony has been pretty notoriously bad tbh, they're not a friendly brand with 3rd party apps. If possible I'd recommend a more compatible phone if MC is the end goal. Also if you're relying on AF a lot, MC doesn't yet have a robust set of tracking features like the native Xperia apps do

Using an S24U atm, video quality is pretty mediocre. Overprocessed and oversharpened garbage. Mcpro24fps/MotionCam save it. Sony video is unmatched. Xiaomi video is decent too.

Do you know if optical zoom is working on the xperia devices?

I doubt it is. I don't think that's something easily accessible to devs outside of Sony. I think instead it may have an option for the extreme ranges, but not an optical zoom feature. Basically whatever is visible via the API

It doesn't, on any app. Only Sony Pro apps will get you the full zoom range, unfortunately

Which smartphone do you prefer to use with mc I think you used both of them 1/ Xiaomi 14U 2/ Vivo X100 pro I have 13U and am thinking of switching to Vivo X100 pro

@@gfgfgfbgbngn2738 I haven't used the Xiaomi sadly, but that seems the way to go. Between those two, I'd choose Xiaomi. But also the price difference is pretty large

Just want to ask if motioncam working fine with x100 pro, I'm planning to exchange my 13 Ultra with it, How is it, specially capturing 4k/60 with motioncam, is it possible with X100 pro ? Any settings on motioncam that didn't work with x100 pro ?

@@ramyabdelrahman3422 60fps isn't available with the X100 Pro, only up to 30. Would you consider the Xiaomi 14 Ultra? It seems to be really good based on other users from the discord

@@ShibiChan I'm currently using 13 ultra and I saw some reviews about 14 ultra The tele lenses on these phones is a bit softer compared to vivo X100 pro. The only downside of vivo is video capturing with stock app, I feel that it's overexposed a bit
