I know I said I'd sell the Vivo and get the Xiaomi, but I've been procrastinating so hard. I really don't enjoy the process of selling and buying new tech. One of these days! In the mean time I'll just continue doing content until the switch finally happens

Thanks for the video. It would also be great to see if there are cheaper chinese alternatives with similar performance. The asking price for this one is a bit steep for what it offers, but there's certainly a niche market for premium add-on lenses - especially in the normal-telephoto range.
@ShibiChan6 ай бұрын
@@foodscience2 Definitely agree. It offers a pretty unique look for mobile but it is certainly not a budget friendly option

Great photos! I have a question: does that moody feel edit have to do with clarity and texture in Lightroom?
@ShibiChan6 ай бұрын
@@kimkaye1712 I usually bump clarity down between 10-20% to soften it overall for mobile photos. I don't mess with texture at all Also thank you!!
@branimirteodorovic22976 ай бұрын
How does this lens affect the total amount of light that hits the sensor? Does reduce the amount of light like a teleconverter? A test of this would be useful. Also it would be nice to compare the depth of field
@ShibiChan6 ай бұрын
@@branimirteodorovic2297 It doesn't seem to lose any meaningful amount of light! Maybe I could do a short showing the difference in compression though, great idea

I owned some Moment lenses for a Pixel 3 and honestly wasn't impressed with the lens clarity and sharpness. Have they gotten better? Great video as always @ShibiChan ✌✌
@ShibiChan6 ай бұрын
@@jamesstratton18 Honestly I do think they've improved since the first gen, but it's still a pretty tough sell at the price. Worth it if you want to try and build out a more mobile kit though. Some of the content these filmmakers are creating with phones is nuts 🥜

Can that clamp damage the screen at all?
@ShibiChan6 ай бұрын
@@elmhurstenglish5938 I haven't had any issues so far. I've used their filter mount for years and it has a similar mounting system. The side that touches the screen is a soft foam pad
