I met Rosanna as a kid years ago, and she was genuinely the most sweetest person. She wrote a cute message and did a little drawing on my plaster cast, which made me so happy at the time. It's so weird to see her name just suddenly come up like this. Seeing how hurt Rosanna is by this really makes me feel for her. So, as a woman, I think the whole "it's because I'm a woman" thing is greatly, greatly overused. It usually just makes me instantly roll my eyes. However, in this case, I could definitely see why this would make her feel bad and why she would think it's about her being a woman.. It's really very bizarre of them to change the order they placed in and I can understand why she feels cheated. Personally, I get the vibe maybe he just wanted names that he thought would be a bigger draw to place higher, but if the whole thing was a set up and they knew what order they were going to have people place, they should have told everyone from the very beginning and they could have chosen whether or not to participate. I think the main point that should be argued is that technically Quackity is the one that should have won the competition. Zach was hiding in an area that was specifically mentioned not to hide in before the game started. Rosanna felt like she was slighted specifically because of her gender. That’s her argument to make, but the main argument should be that Quackity was the rightful winner and his charity should have been the one that got the million dollars.

I think the part people are overlooking is that she was a part of a competition with rules that were explained ahead of time and the person that won the money, cheated . If he changes the winners in editing then who's to say the whole thing isn't rigged from the beginning and they chose the winner before the competition began. Yeah but at the end of the day Jimmy is losing at LEAST a million dollars making the video, so to offset some of that he would feel the need to make the video as exciting and captivating as possible. Im assuming he edited the bigger creators into those spots to reach a wider audience and max out the watch time as much as he can. It is still odd that he didn't just let everyone know from the get go that it would be edited, but it was probably just a lot easier to get raw footage that way without having to get everyone on bored to basically lie to their audiences. If she approached the situation differently I think there would be way more backlash towards Jimmy, but her attitude towards the whole thing is kind of just overshadowing everything else and making her look kinda dumb ngl.

Or the liability of people who are going to behave competitively in an event that wasn't really competitive. Everybody saying none of this matters, don't seem to acknowledge that the participating channels are their own brands too. When you lie or obfuscate details like that as a MUCH LARGER brand after securing filming rights, it gives you disproportionate power. Keeping larger charitable organizations and channels honest is critical. Her 'hide and go seek game' that didn't matter, is figuratively speaking, a larger accomplishment than most of the terminally online people clowning on her will ever achieve in the personal or public sphere. It's just more of the odd psychological association that since Mr.Beast is more successful than her in business, than he's a better person because he wins. Telling him that with para-socialistic blind support doesn't encourage him to stay authentic either. We receive the entertainment, employment and governance we incentivize over time given the choice. He has the most incentive to keep everything behind the scenes honest and legal BECAUSE it involves charity UNTIL the viewership makes it clear he doesn't. Lying to people to get them to perform to a higher level than what you intend to compensate them for whether in monetary value, recognition, etc is common in the workplace, but also largely responsible for burnout and workplace inequality. If the incentive of collaborating together for charity was competition based exposure, it needs to be competition based. You can be successful without lying to people or over playing your hand when you have control, its just much quicker and easier if you do.

What she did say however, is that she felt sooo proud of this grand achievement of placing 3rd in hide and seek, that being edited made her feel so bad and affected her self-esteem, and to top it all off, made the accusation that it was because she was a woman. Saying that is obviously ridiculous since nothing about where you place for a hide and seek game, that no one takes seriously, for charity, filmed for a KZbin video, should be seen as a considerable or noteworthy accomplishment. If anything does, it should only be the charity part. So in that context, and with that argument, then yea, this definitely doesn't matter.

The main reason this whole drama started, and why rosanna made it public, is that she was saying she seen Jimmy as an authentic creator who doesn’t write story lines and it’s all real, when really she’s now realised that it’s fake and set up to set a certain narrative that will get more views etc. that’s why she’s came out to make everyone aware that not everything should be taken at face value from Jimmy, as he was known for being authentic when it’s clearly not the case at all looking at all this.

I think it all comes down to branding... Part of Jimmy's brand is being authentic. Everything is big and blown to it's his highest level but, it is real and authentic. Now, with this coming out for me personally I am wondering what else is Jimmy altering. What is really real. I don’t think she’s wrong. At least about the whole editing her out part. It does seem to me like some MrBeast videos have scenes that seem edited to create more dramatic moments but in doing so may damage the actual way things played out. Whether that is wrong or not can have arguments on both sides but I think making this issue about gender isn’t the best direction to take it. Mainly saying this because again, it most likely wasn’t a gender issue but rather just to make things seem more dramatic in order to keep viewers engaged. So perhaps they did decide to cut both of them out because their names weren’t as big as the last three. Hey oomp, love your content and how compassionate you usually are when you address people. That said, I feel like this take was a bit of a miss. I understand everyone’s gonna have different opinions about things but my understanding of the big thing about this drama was that you kinda gotta think big picture. Partially, it’s about integrity, and if jimmy is falsely editing one video, what goes to say that he doesn’t do that for all of them, including ones where actually everyday people win money for themselves? As well as the factor of (assuming he did falsely edit it) why would he do it in the first place? I know he seems like such a genuine guy, but I think I speak for all women when I say we’ve met guys who seem so genuine and kind in front of everyone but then say the nastiest shnit about women in private. I’m not trying to say that’s how jimmy is, I’ve actually been a fan of his for awhile, but seeing any kind of small thing like editing the only girl out of the top 3 can kind of make you feel betrayed. I believe that the reason why she put out that initial statement with the pink background was because she was getting bombarded with questions and doubts just about that Mr Beast story. In the podcast with Trisha (where she first mentioned this incident), she was sharing many other past experiences that were equally worthy of acknowledging, if not more. I believe that if her allegations were against a larger creator who already has a large negative image, then the public would have been on her side. I understand that her language sounds very SA victim-like but having heard many victim statements (both real and fake) hers sound very authentic - like it came from a lot of pent up emotions from all her worst experiences. Just based on what I've seen of Rosanna over the years, she is one of those genuinely sweet, wholesome people, not that I consumed her content directly. In the end, and more context could be derived from her appearance on the H3 podcast, but I think she just felt that it was mean and unnecessary that she and Quackity were misrepresented for no reason other than to boost other creators to make Mr Beast's content seem more entertaining. I would have been offended of hurt if this was me. I watched Rosanna as a kid and seeing this makes me feel so surprised and upset because if it was me honestly I would have been extremely upset but it’s my opinion. I feel like Beast has gotten too comfortable addressing these issues with that charismatic personality Oompa mentioned. When DMs leak and I read his responses it just says "arrogance" to me, or like he can solve anything with money. Which you can. You can absolutely solve most anything with the right amount of money. Doesn't mean you should. I got the impression that he wanted to speak to her on the phone to keep things "off the books" and out of the DMs, maybe possibly perhaps to say "hey, sorry, here's a couple thousand, shut up now." No one likes to publicly show humility these days. Plus, he's a flex-money-for-clout creator and I hate those.

Got a similar feeling. On a call, people do feel more comfortable saying things knowing there won't be anything backed up. It's easier to say in a call "ok, how much can I give you to make this stop". Not saying he wanted to do that necessarily, but... people, have everything in writing.

If she didn't care about winning then why did she participate and then participate so hard. I mean if she was edited out of first place and she was actually in first place and she did infact win the whole competition and then she came out to do this because she was upset about being edited out of first place and edited out of winning the whole thing because then she was cheated out of giving millions of dollars to the charity of her choice......then that would make sense and be a whole different story. And if that was the case then I still wouldn't come out like this and bringing it to everyone's attention just like she is doing right now...... because the first place and the million dollars still goes to charity either way and no matter what. Because isn't that the whole purpose of the competition and this whole thing anyway?? And so whether you got last place or first place or some place in-between.......then you should be proud of participating either way because you helped a million dollars go to charity either way. And that's really all that matters.

I'd understand if she had said something to him sooner, but it was a video that had a winner that would support a charity. All of the KZbinrs make tons of money and can support charities without Mr. Beast giving them the funds after playing a game. So to wait three years just to suddenly bring up that she was simply edited out of third place is a bit ridiculous. I get being hurt in the moment, but to hold on to it for three years, over a hide and seek game with a bunch of adults, is dumb in my opinion. Plus to say "I'm not trying to start drama" but instantly post the screen shots is definitely not the way to show it. All of this over a hide and seek game that she didn't even win and I'm 99% sure that majority Mr. Beast viewers do not think about that video anymore as they have had three years of new content to watch. She should have spoke to him directly from the start, either as soon as the video came out or right now when she decided she had the courage to speak on it. If they had messaged and he said something rude then sure, post it. This is just way to much.

Rosanna Pansino is not trying to cancel MrBeast. She is trying to make a point come across that he portrays all of his videos that it’s all a game and all for fun whoever wins wins, and then he goes behind her back and edit it to portray how he wants it to be , if you’re saying MrBeast isn’t drama, then what is Rosanna Pansino because she’s been on this platform for longer than he has, and has never caused a riot she is just tired of everybody putting her down and is tired of being the smallest voice in the room and now it is time for her to speak up if you actually watch the video with Trisha Paytas when she talked about the incident with MrBeast you would’ve known that she was still rooting for MrBeast and all of his products that he was coming out with, and she was still a supporter, but she was tired of her silence.

I think you missed the part where mr.beast said the competition would be fair. That in itself should cast some doubt on how he is running things.
