It’s an official. I have ditched my 11 ram hemi project (Carvana picking up on Tuesday) and went with 2019 f150 stx 2.7 twin turbo today. Fucked rips, nice and new, but I’m still gonna follow all the hemi guys and wish you best of luck!

One other thing, where can I pick up the brushes you use. I build quite a few blocks and could use that deal instead of the aggressive steel brushes I use.

With a 392...i think itll be close to an 11 depending on the applications the 1320 challenger is close to that and its close to 5k lbs.. id say ol girl is a lil heavier than that....but u will already have the right trans in there...ure ratio in the back .392? Or somthing like a 323 or 355? That will make a difference stock i believe...i am biased tho being a diff guy..

I'm gonna stay N/A. I also have the FRP Tomahawk camshaft plus other goodies, which should be quite quick. Frostbite will be a BEAST if you, as I know you, will supercharge it. I am curious why you didn't go aluminum block though. I am planning that for a future build.

With Apache heads upgrade your valves , those intake valves have hollow stems and it does not take much to hurt them i can tell you first, hand your wallet will thank you down the road with a better aftermarket valves, also check you piston to valve clearance and give yourself a little extra room on you intake clearance, just built mine and had to clearance my pistons hood luck on the build..

@FrostbiteRam there is a big difference between that 5.7 and 6.4 you will have no problem going in to the 9s don't for get to up grade your lifters and go at least 95 mm on your throttle body those Apache heads flow way more the the Eagles

I have a question I have a 6.4 15,000 miles sounds like the top end lifters and that have 2 dealers look at it they said it’s no noisier than no normal but no engine codes. Nothing they’re going to do. I’m thinking about going to 5w-40 oil any thoughts?

You can try I don't see it being a problem. However check for broken exhaust manifold bolts very common on these trucks and sounds similar to lifters tapping.

You can't tell if a cylinder is good by looking at. You can't see thousandth with you eye. Lol... by changing the pistons you are changing where the rings ride. Spend the little extra a machine shop.

I agree with some of that but with all the cylinders I've seen in my day I have a pretty good idea when something will work or not. But I'm trying to stay away from machine shop jail as much as possible.
