Mercedes might be on the podium. Nevertheless the gap between 1 and 3 was still more than 17 seconds. So the only thing changed from last year is that only Norris with the MacLaren was able to keep the RB pace.

Ferrari as usual gave the drivers bad advice. Sainz seems the only one out there with his head on right. New Soft Tyres means attack time, not cruising behind a Mercedes.

When starting alongside eatchother at 5-6 there is no logic in putting both drivers on the same strategy. So Sainz did the only logical at the beginning at the race.

RB is lucky in the constructors championship so far. But if Perez keeps up his poor performance on track, I can see McLaren challanging them. Ferrari just went back to their old ways it seems.

How are Red Bull lucky? Max is doing it all on his own like most of last year.

@@stevenmoran4060 Oh don't take my comment as hate. First quarter of the year Ferrari was quite dominant for podiums and looked like a solid 2nd place on the championship. Now that Mercedes and McLaren are challanging them as well, they couldn't keep points consistently. Yes Max is carrying Red Bull mostly, Perez's 111 points do matter, but the last few races, his performance were mediocre at best. So i'm saying Red Bull is lucky that Ferrari is getting challanged as well and other teams are catching up. Increasing their 50 point lead even more in future races if Ferrari keeps messing up, but it would help a lot if Perez started getting positions, instead of being a mid field driver with a car designed for podiums.

He's leaving for 2026 let's be honest.. nikki lauda was invaluable to the car dominating the first turbo hybrid stint... the merc wasn't great when they bought brawn, it wasn't great in ground effect.. they are 1/3 for nailing the regs so it's safe to assume it will be 1/4

@@dcrasta yeah look at aston martin they were the 2 best car for 5 or races and they have fallend off quickly, even alonso can't help with the developement of the car, but lewis always was crucial for mercedes in developing the car, since they started listening to him the car has been better and more balanced, if they listened to russel they wouldn't be in the top 4 or 5, but people will always discredit lewis for anything he does
