@@davidsegovia7560 Anakin was ridiculously powerful in all game modes when he showed up especially in capital supremacy and yoda adding anakin's already over 1000 hp along with other troopers and heroes it was already a bad day to be a dark side player. The whole point of these updates are to make the games on both light side and dark balanced and taking away the damage reduction for vader's chocking ability makes one of his abilities useless and a liability in games like HvV and especially Galactic assault which is why people like myself are a bit outrage that DICE is adding this unnecessary nerf since vader is able to die on his own currently and this upcoming update is just going to make him useless and unreliable to players that just want to have a nice vader experience. Now boba on the other hand is rather understandable but that's a whole other topic I rather not discuss lol

I am a very big Boba Fett player. I am very annoyed by the change. He is my favorite character in Star Wars and I mastered him in Battlefront 2. He was one of the few blaster characters that could stand up to force users. People would just spam force push and pull and then slash but Boba could dodge it if you knew how to use him. He was also one of the few characters people couldn't force push off the edge like in Kashyyk and Cloud City. His rocket barrage is his only real good weapon. His concussion missile is largely ineffective and even though he has a decent blaster lightsaber characters just block most of the shots. The barrage is the weapon they cant block but they can dodge. He was fine the way he is. Why don't they take out his concussion missile and give him a flamethrower like in the first Battlefront not just the melee attack but something you can spray if get attacked by lightsabers. Or better yet replace his concussion missile with something useful like the wire he fires at Luke during the Sarlacc battle. That would actually be useful for stunning people. If you are going to nerf Boba then nerf the force push and spam. Its so annoying for blaster characters.

I’ve seen some do really well with him, and I have a few times myself, but let’s be honest: he’s seriously one of the weakest heroes in the game, especially in HvV, where I live. No nerfs, please! Quicker concussion rocket animation is the “buff” we get?! That is absolutely ridiculous. 😔👎🏻 If the nerfs are absolutely necessary (they aren’t IMO), then how about at least also making the concussion rockets actually have a worthwhile effect? Well here is my opinion on these updates: Pros: - Boba's concussion rocket got faster, this is good but not what the ability needs, I'm a Boba main so id love for concussion rocket to be useful but this won't make it useful, it either needs to invert controls, act as a real flash grenade, do damage or act as a stun making it faster is barley a buff. So what if it's faster it's still useless. - Kylo got a slight nerf - Some bugs were patched (hopefully) - Chewbacca got a buff, although he needs more buffs so he is good in GA - Leia finally gets a buff. Cons: - Vaders force choke getting nerfed to the ground, it needed a damage reduction on it, maybe not 80% maybe something like 60% or 50% but not none. - The change to his star card, it was so good before but it won't be after. - The changes to Bobas star cards, as I said before i am a Boba main and this hurts, the intense barrage was his best card and this change makes it useless what the hell Dice and the nerf to Anti-Hero rockets will hurt in HvV so much. Why do you do this Dice Boba was in such a great place all he needed was his concussion rocket to be buffed so its useful and hed be perfect, but not this, why dice why.

Try not to hold the choke ability down, i tried only pressing it and Vader started to choke longer. It's very weird.

It does work and yes, it's maybe 1-2 seconds longer. It's a 40% increase to an ability that's pretty fast already, what do you expect? It is enough to deal 150 damage with this card, if not then maybe you are canceling the ability. Try pressing the ability button once and clicking nothing else, it should last for the full duration if it has targets to choke.

Don’t get me wrong, Dice has done some good stuff like giving us new modes and maps, but what the f***, who is the dib**** in charge of the “balancing” aspect with nerfing and buffing heroes and troopers! It’s like they just decide to hit either one of two buttons for a hero, over buffing the crud out of them or literally just flipping a kill switch on them! Why! It’s so simple that it’s almost baffling what they do and if they truly can’t figure out something why not listing a few adjustments and have they community give their feedback. They need to start removing MORE of this dmg reduction and remove more of the ability immunity. They should buff the dmg to his choke, mauls throw, obis push, anything with a longer animation time should do big damage but just not be as safe. Risk vs reward puts more emphasis on skill than mindlessly running around spamming abilities
