Huge profits with Epson Label Printer

Do you print on paper or pp? I find pp looks so much better than paper on the Epson label printers. Also where I live, pre cut labels cost so much more than continuous material so I have to finish them myself.

I print on BOPP except for the 1.5” taco labels. Those are just paper.

@@mikesstickers have you considered printing on continuous media and using a finisher? I find finishers are obscenely expensive and annoying for short runs. The only alternative I know of is the F-Mark graphtec sheet cutter. I wish graphtec did a finisher attachment for the ce7000.

Obviously it depends on the label designs but about how many labels do you get before you need to swap ink?

@@santiagofr955 no, it just prints exactly where it should as long as the labels are manufactured correctly then the roll.

@@valcourtarts2955 I use both Hickman Labels & Onlinelabels . com depending on exactly what I need. I typically order in large quantities so that I can get a price break.

Does it ever lose alignment in the middle of a job?

@@omar-4eva no it does not but if there was a manufacturing error when they made the blank labels, then the alignment can be off. It’s an issue with the labels & not the printer. I once ordered 18,000 labels that were all manufactured wrong. Most would be in alignment but then a bunch would go out of alignment. They let me return them.

@@BuiltByLines3D the widest I’ve ever printed was 4 inches I think. This one is capable of printing 8 inches wide but I honestly think that’s more than I will ever need. I usually print 1.5”, 2”, 2.5” & 3”. They have the exact same printer but not 8 inches wide and it’s cheaper.

​@@BuiltByLines3D C4000 is cheaper but only takes media up to 108mm. The problem with these printers is there isn't a cartridge resetter available as far as I'm aware and the ink costs sooooo much.

But it’s quick & easy to get it into alignment. The fact that I don’t have to laminate or let the ink off gas over night is the best part.

@@mikesstickers NO DOUBT, i have 2 of the Epson C7500, one gloss and one matt. I love the units and the 6500 has an 8 inch width, perfect too hook up to a finisher. I should have never bought the finisher, but it is what it is. I've dishwashed the stickers lol.

@@mikesstickers when you say no need to laminate, are these for outdoor stickers? How do they hold up on the window of a car for example? Do they fade out quickly from the sun?

@@feverdream2661 these are traditionally used for one time use throw away items but depending on what material you print on, it holds up pretty well outdoors. They are not as durable as laminated vinyl die cut stickers.
