6:00 Well...Im usually one to not do this, but Im gonna have to hit you with some fact checks on that statement, seeing how I am also known for Fortnite content, going so far as to being partnered with Epic Games. It may not be intentional, but there are flaws and potentially a lack of thought with this statement. In terms of cosmetics, there is honestly no real difference between the two games. Your outfits primarily do nothing different than some other outfits. A simple modifier for cooldown or damage is no different than Chapter 5 season 1 weapon modification. On top of that, the outfits themselves are primarily cosmetic with there being several recolored variants of the same outfit. Weapons are similar in terms of mechanics in both games. Just because a Longsword has new heavies or a new sniper has thermal vision doesnt change the fact that the longsword has the same basic combos or that a sniper uses weapon rarity to determine its damage. Its probably just used in a different way. Both constantly get map changes. Before you get into specifics, Fortnite has a much larger map than anything Shinobi Striker has. One new point of interest on Fortnites map is arguably some form of equivalent of a new battle map in SS. Both games get new weapons/jutsu that feel like some form of game changer. Take a look at collaboration weapons or season specific weapons in Fortnite, like star wars lightsabers (each with individual combos and force abilities) or the shockwave hammer introduced back in Chapter 4 that gave weapon based movement in a way the game never had before while also being combat ready with the shockwave hammer. This can be somewhat similar like when we get unique new weapons with full new combos like the healer hand weapons, the new tonfa for healers of the nunchaku for ATK rather than just a reskin with new heavies like a lot of weapons end up as. Now...here comes the hard reality of why SS is not on the same level as Fortnite in terms of updates. Fortnite has essentially three tiers of updates: general/balancing updates, season updates and chapter updates. The first tier is your basic bug fixes, server maintenance or even weapons getting buffed or nerfed. Theres are common and usually fast response to game changers. If a bug completely ruins the experience of a game or a weapon is just too powerful, they will hear the community and fix it fast. Season updates are tier two. Each season, Fortnite typically adds some new updates to the map, usually one new point of interest. Hopefully its no longer tilted towers being redone. These updates also include a weapons rotation, bringing old weapons back and removing specific ones from the last season or collaboration event, moving these things in and out of what is known as the Vault. Some weapons, like shotgun variants or ARs become unvaulted while things like last seasons special weapons remain in the vault permanently. These updates also include new battle passes, which is a slew of new cosmetics, new stories being told which are limited but not only including things like map details, special interactive elements on the map and even full on cinematics and live events. These are done every COUPLE months or so. Then there are chapter updates, which can take elements from the season updates and crank it up to 11 with things like an entirely new map, which is easily several maps worth of SS, even more cinematics, complete weapon vault changes, ect. Things like this happen once a year in order to tell the next chapter of the story and change so much about the game while remaining the same core experience overall. Shinobi Striker has two tiers, which are smaller updates like shop rotation or new weekly events or larger updates that usually include each of the following: New character DLC, weapons in the game files but not released to the public, a single new map at times and jutsu/weapon balances. I will give credit for things like the new shop ticket system and the fact that you can now modify top and bottom skills on whole body outfits separately as well as revert outfit skills to default. Those are cool, but few and far between in this case. Fortnite is also heavily more invested as a live service model than SS is. SS requires a purchase of the game as well as having an active PS Plus subscription (free on PC of course) while FN has neither requirements. You can purchase cosmetics and battle passes/DLC and season passes from both games, but you dont have to for you to enjoy the core experience of FN. SS nowadays requires a minimum of a few dollars for the game and due to the more popular platform, a PS Plus subscription which is minimum 80 dollars EACH YEAR. Fortnite is now way beyond what it once was. Battle Royale wasnt even intended to be a main feature for the game. Now its what its known for. However, its since spread out to include new main modes like Rocket Racing, Fortnite Festival and Lego Fortnite. The last time SS added a new game mode was the Pit, which was quite early in its lifespan. Im only listing some things. But I feel I have given more than enough info to counter that claim. And as a conclusion, quality over quantity. How can you enjoy the FULL experience of SS if we still have it get ruined by modders or lagging out of matches? They should work on the basics rather than push a whole lot of things like summoning animals, a new season and new weapon tiers with possible mechanics.

I get what your saying but you missed the point. I'm not saying ss is bigger or would be. Early fortnite had lots of updates that spoiled the world. But ss does give the most updates for any anime game is my point. Almost comparable to fortnite on deliver and communication. Modders are in every game. Theyvarent hard to beat. Skill issues in every game. Because there are plenty of clips pros beating cheaters.

I think they might end up doing an overwatch2 but hopefully better.. Where they give the game a major update and make it free to play but make their money with all the dlc... It seems after all these years they are actually getting serious with fixing the game
