Karan bahi salary nahi hai ye it's worth of our life . This is compensation of all suffers which we go through every day on ship. People can't stand 2 minutes in 30 degrees, and we sailors spend our 9 months contract in temp range of 35 plus with more than 15 hrs ever day. Once we sail on ship, We hardly knows when we had complete sleep.

Enginee is best no doubt Ships nowadays are On UMS 8-5 job No paper work shit, no show off no domination on junior officer, once on port after Finishing with enginee just run away and enjoy unlike Deck poor chaps who have to do cargo operation and if u are on tankers life is hell. One advise if u want to live in peace and enjoy at same time enginee is right type of field. As Deck officer I have seen how frustrated and arrogant one become progressing on higher ranks, one reason is less education and lack of maturity engineers are well educated and has lived the beautiful age of college.
