@@WardhanAbhigyan brother when I was a cadet, I had so much of hardships in the company i was working. When I saw this video of cadet on Emma Maersk his work is comparatively easy and intresting. This is why I said Maersk treats it employee well at least when they are onboard.

I'm a Deck Cadet on board a ship on Motor Tanker "UGALE". 2nd contract. Sealife is not easy, but it pays off with the time. My Cadet life is also doing Deck/Rough and other loogbooks, steering the ship/mooring etc. And most of it I do because I want to learn, not that I have to. Have a good one Deck Officer!!👍🏻👍🏻

In this video a DCP extinguisher has been discharged overboard which is in violation of Marpol V The extinguisher powder is to be discharge into an empty drum and landed ashore... also as this a planned discharge it would be better to do it wearing RPE so as to avoid inhalation in secluded area.. and not in such a location which will allow the DCP powder into the accommodation or near it.

Please keep practicing stellar navigation so that it becomes second nature, please do not rest on GPS only. I started as a seaman and then up. I would say now that as I have left the sea so long ago I would have difficulty in remembering how to work out PZX, but for fun get the Apprentice onto solar amplitudes using ABC tables or cheat by using sun declination - latitude this will help on confidence. I know through experience.
