I suggest feeding them Axanthium (I think I spelt it wrong) algae (the algae that they eat in the wild and is the reason why flamingos are pink) they dissolve in water and you might be thinking “why is that a good thing” it’s bc the adults won’t eat it all before the babies can get it bc the ababies can’t get the food that is floating or is at the bottom of the tank, especially with a tank that huge with that amount of sea monkeys

Wow! Your sea monkeys are so beautiful! This tank is out of this world! Have you tried keeping opae ula shrimp yet? I would love to see the landscaping you would do in a opae ula tank. I’m new to keeping fish and I love how you land scraped this tank. Personally I can’t make up my mind on if I want to have sea monkeys or opae ula shrimp. Both are supposed to be easy to care for, which as a newbie fish keeper is a plus for me, but I’ve heard that the opae ula shrimp live 20 years.

I have not tried that breed of shrimp before. I'd love to hear how your colony goes! Honestly I'm a novice with this stuff too. I've never had fish or other crustaceans besides the hermit crabs I had as a kid. We've got dogs and cats. :)

Question. I have a spare 10 gallon all in one tank. My question is did you seal the back of the tank off so the water and sea monkeys don’t get into the filter side of the tank?
@SeaMonkeyDudeJon2 ай бұрын
@@rudyj1212Hi Rudy! I didn't seal that part off, but I did rip the whole filter right out of there. The openings connecting both parts of the aquarium are large enough for mature Sea-Monkeys to pass through with ease. I definitely have some chilling back there that you can't see in the videos.
