I've been hit by birds a few times, one about knocked me off my bike... doing 70+ mph and never seen it coming BAM right in the helmet, was lucky it wasn't in the face shield, would have killed me lol

Loose dogs aren't a problem if you know how to handle it. Try to get close to the dog and of it even looks agressive, shoot it. If you can get a dog to leave it's own yard, that's even better.

Snakes ain't even difficult to deal with. They're a one trick pony... seriously. They can only grab (bite) and maybe some wrap you up... Get control of the head ("dangerous end") and you're safe to do whatever you need... Granted, that takes a bit of practice, but even the practice isn't difficult or particularly dangerous.... Even the so-called "racer" isn't so fast, so it's not like you can't just avoid the damn things... AND they get rid of pretty much ALL the pests you don't want in your crawl space or basement or barn. Snakes are great! ;o)
