Do they work if you plug without activation ?

Are the monitors huge in size when you use them to upgrade your smaller sized monitors, or would they give you a "huge upgrade" by way of sound quality over what you have now? Unless, of course, you have something much better (and pricier) already. What does it have for its control port, a lowly USB? Not RJ-45 Ethernet? What!? Why does one need a magnifying glass to see that tiny LCD screen, for a speaker this huge? Also, don't you just hate those analog "combo jacks" -- instead of 2 separate real inputs, like a 1/4-inch TRS & XLR. Lastly, maybe not everyone's favorite color is forest green in a studio, control room, listening/playback room, screening room?

They look waaaay too big for your tiny room.

Imagine if everyone’s room was just the size you see on 1 camera angle.

How so? Coaxial design minimum distance for a cohesive driver sum is usually sub 1 meter.

@@RecluseRR low end driver is 8 inch if i'm not mistaken, those are rather mid field than close field

@eRR but they're not a true Coaxial design monitor... like the Genelec one series

@@RodneyD Neither is Genelec 8260a yet the minimum listening distance is 0.5m.
