Movements and maneuring look more realistic than usual rc models
@grouchyfluff6 жыл бұрын
I noticed this too. Perhaps it has something to do with the scale speed being closer to that of the real aircraft's scale speed. Having a 1/29 model (what i calculated from using the real 777 wingspan) flying at even 80km/h means a scale speed of 2330km/h. This looks to be between 10-30km/h, giving a range of scale speed to be 290-870 km/h, which is right about accurate for most airliners IRL.

Note: fans blow into fully deployed flaps, and create a kind of a thrust vectoring effect, in its stunning, nearly hovering manner... Rudder is ineffective, so to turn aside you have to either blow into rudder by your impellers, or just control their thrusts complementary. Perfect weight balance is a necessary point as well, as I suspect... AMAZING show, well done guys! +1

John C Gibson Hydrogen is much better than helium for lift, so I wouldn’t bother with helium, plus the fuselage is far too low volume and for its area to make helium actually do anything at all... hydrogen might lift off like 5 grams in weight, but probably not since it needs an air tight seal at that point... Do note it’s RC, so if it explodes, your probably at least 10ft away, would be cool for July 4th though! Kick on an infinite and fwoosh!
