I'm old school. I surfed with guys on paipos and and, sometimes, paipo nuis. I was bodysurfing Makapu'u in early 70s and I saw my first Tom Morey Boogie Board. Bought one the next day. Body boarding has come a long way.

Jack Lindholm 'Jack the Ripper' was sponsored by moray boogie and brought the first boogies to Hawaii from La Jolla California. His spot was Sandy Beach back then, of course Makapu'u is right around the corner.
