Nice work on dressing those cables. Always think of my old trade school teacher who emphasized that we always do our work in a neat and workman like manner. Love the job site videos only they make me wish I could rewire my house as the guys who did it when it was built were nowhere near your level of workmanship.

It definitely takes time to get good at dressing cabling. This is a strange build as well. They really only needed 10 cables terminated to get up and running for Tuesday but it looks better bundled in 24 I’ll be doing 1-2 more videos on this job site

At 1:51 mark you show an AP 'right there' on the 2nd floor. I would treat AP's like lightbulbs, and you wouldn't put a light bulb next to that A/C duct. I would lower it just beneath if you can with some all-thread, or move it. I'm also seeing some metal mesh on certain spots, that might cause some unexpected blocking of RF possibly, so watch out for that when/if you do an after-install wireless passive survey etc. Thanks for the video
@MactelecomNetworks3 жыл бұрын
Unfortunately this place is riddled with metal as it’s a pretty secure building. I’ll be doing heatmap scans once the build is finished and if we have to cut holes and move APs we will
