Okay Rodrigo. How do I know? I have cats. To temporarily fix mesh screens from kitty claws, before replacing the entire screen, or even using a mesh repair kit, use “crazy glue”, or another instant glue. bring the damaged mesh, as close together as possible. Using a needle and thread, sew the screen, then fill the seams, and or holes with the glue to make a reinforced bond.

JB, when ya have a clawing cat, as many do, including me, you can put double-sided tape on the furniture or screen. They hate the feel and stick of it and will stop clawing the surface/s after a few days... It works, and no one gets hurt. 😊 Oh, and don't forget to exchange the tape every month so that it doesn't start to degrade if ya want to leave it on.

Too late for now, but if there is a next time, use a larger size conduit. The 1 inch conduit is acceptable for up to 4 4 gauge wires. However, with the distance you had to go an 1 1/2 inch conduit would have made it much easier to run the wires. Also, the ground wire could have been uninsulated / bare copper wire.

So I’m not an electrician but I’ve unloaded so much conduit I was wondering why not bigger myself! Thanks. Lol. I’d of pitched in for bigger.

I don't know if you have it in Panama, but I know in the States we have pet screen. It's to help stop your dog jump up against the screen and ripping it. It also helps if the cat keeps trying to climb on it. But the cheapest way to get Roger to stop any bad behavior is, go to your dollar store and buy a water spritzer and every time he climbs on the screen, or scratching on your couch, etc. Say no firmly (don't yell) and squirt him with the water bottle. It is safe. It won't hurt him and he will learn very quickly when you even pick up the bottle that means Dad is not happy with what he is doing, and he is about to get sprayed if he doesn't stop doing the bad behavior. Also while you are still building it would be nice to build him a little shelf against the window. My cats love watching the birds and other animals outside.

So proud of you Bud! Definitely not being condescending! You, Jordon, Kaylee, Sadie and the boys have done such amazing things! I hope at least once every 6mo or so y’all have flash back Thursday pizza parties together to remind yourselves how far you’ve come! I saw Jordan & Kaylee’s video they post about living in Fairbanks Alaska cuz I’m from AK but about 8 1/2 south of Fairbanks. I’m on the Kenai Peninsula. I was born & raised here. The last 12 yrs I’ve been a snowbird to TX in winter months due to breaking my neck in a car wreck. I have hardware from C2-C7 and the cold as well as barometric pressure literally makes it so I can’t move. I don’t know when I’ll be back home to AK cuz my husband of 37yrs left me in Mar. I’m packing all my belongings and inheritance stuff of my Grandparents & Parents(they died last yr) I’ve lived in this house for 35 yrs today, we’ve been together for 37😢 Now just like that I’m kicked out of my state again. Before do to my neck, now cuz of a man who’s never been committed to me and our kids.😔 Back to how I found you, by clicking on their video of Fairbanks then to you😊 I feel like I’m your “internet Mom”. It’s fun to see how y’all are living your dreams & working hard to accomplish them! Keep going you got this😁

That Rascally Roger tore up your screen? We had to replace ALL of our window (and slider door...total of 17) screens with tear resistant screens. We did two windows at a time.....cost us @ $30 bucks a window and more for the door, naturally. There IS a way to do it yourself....but I just don't have the patience. But they work excellently! We had 5 cats at one time.....but sadly we are down to 1 now. Still, I caught her climbing the screen door as she tried to catch a squirrel just yesterday. Screens are still holding up without tears. Your wonderful house is coming together nicely....and you did it all by yourself! You must be so proud! Such an inspiration. All the best to you and Mr. Roger Dodger! ✌💕

I also live off-grid and am on 100% solar. You can monitor your power use from each power outlet by installing the SENSE power monitor. You simply add a small breaker (15) and connect the monitor to your box, it take 5 minutes. This will prove to Jordan that YOU aren't using all of the power when the battery is dead. LOL.

You are Roger's muse. He follows you everywhere and it's adorable how much he enjoys your company but maybe he needs a kitty friend to bond with as well. I have 15 furbabies (12 cats & 3 dogs - 2 of whom think they are also cats - they're brainwashed that way by their feline masters 😂😂). The way a cat can find an empty box intriguing is funny. Mine love to sit on freshly washed laundry or my clothes when I undress. They follow me to make sure all is well with whatever I'm doing, they are fantastic peaceful company each with a unique personality. That first bowl of food though - way too much for 1 meal. I have found that they don't like the food when it goes stale from being air exposed. Dogs don't really care but cats are fussy and can be quite destructive when they are bored. Cell chargers, earphone and headphone wire is particularly interesting to chew on. Congratulations on the electricity and the water connections to your home. Everything is coming along so well and your group dynamic is a special bond that is a joy to watch. Aw Sadie is so precious when she says "I love you" 😊. Be safe and take care - greetings from my mountain homestead in South Africa ❤❤.

Always wondered why you were not using the solar power on the farm. If need be you could offer to upgrade the solar if need be. When installing the concrete board in the shower do not make the mistake Jordan has on how to seal it at the floor. Do some research, google, you tube it. Bud to small of a pipe is why putting the wire is was such a struggle. You can buy screen mesh for pets. Roger shews a live cord he could use up all nine lives at once.
