Thanks for the video. Mine was a pain to do because of the pivot screw, it was caked with loctite so I had to burn the old scale in order to loosen it.

😂 yeah I recommend just heating them up first before melting them off. I had to do that with the Deka. That's also why I never re-loctite knives, hasn't been a problem yet.

I simply screwed the clip from the Böker Magnum blue Jay onto the Civivi Vision fg. Visually, in terms of feel and in everyday life, it fits perfectly. 😅🤷‍♂️👍

I feel like We should just copy this version of the Vision over theirs, add a better pocket clip, maybe finally do some other steel than 20CV like Magnacut... I have the S35VN version but would love to switch to titanium scales.

@@sloanNYC So the Vision R with the clip on the side rather than the top? It would be a welcome change but I don’t think it’d be worth it for them. Maybe is they bring back Snecx to do a third version of it

Has anyone tried Assembling the scales, but with the washer against the blade instead of against the scales and the bearings in the scale cut-outs?

The washers are there because the ceramic balls in the bearings would quickly wear into the aluminum and the knife would no longer function normally. They are steel so the bearings have some to ride on

The matter with this knives, is : small screw diameter And only 2 or 3 screw for maintain all the structure of the knife.... not good for me

I’m glad the video has been helpful. Yes it’s a titanium clip from CJRB, I wanted a nicer clip to go with the scales. There’s also a Kizer clip that works on most Civivis too

You tried twice without success to open it through the spine lock and couldn't. Then you resorted to the thumb studs. Did your knife not work well with the super lock on those scales? It seems like you noticed it wasn't good and decided to force the blade open using the thumb studs.
