I’ve heard the designer’s name pronounced “snecks” (like Chex cereal). Cool design. The advantage of locks like that is also that your fingers never need to be in the path of the closing blade. Thanks for the heads-up. Gonna grab one.

I just received my vision fg today and was blown away by the quality of it I like Civivi knives but they are always a bit basic in the finish this thing feel and looks like it’s quality above it’s price point

I wonder how long it takes for that handle to get all scratched up and yellow.

My favorite Civivi knifes are the Amarite and the bull tusk with the Damascus blade + Ultem handle.

Love the Vision FG, I really want them to release a utility blade version of it.

reminds me of the Demko Shark Lock I noticed Walmart selling Civivi in store at least that's what the website told me

Another knife that uses the "Superlock" mechanism is the Tactile Knife Co. Chupacabra

I was at Wal-Mart a coulpe days ago and noticed they carried Civivi now.Not saying that's a bad thing,or good thing, just saying.

Yes, that is a thing. I should have mentioned it. However, Walmart will, according to my intel, only be carrying four of the most popular Civivi models. Good for them, I say.

Lexan is just a brand name of polycarbonate. They produce dozens (at least) of grades with different attributes. Calling something "Lexan" means nothing more than "plastic."
@Stevieboy75 ай бұрын
Just like G10, or Micarta. They're all plastic, but are different. Thats why we have different names!
@Sylvan_dB5 ай бұрын
@@Stevieboy7 It's polycarbonate. Lexan does not specify a type of polycarbonate. Lexan sells an entire family of polycarbonates from flexible to bullet proof.

No lexan is used and required for windshields in drag racing and nascar. It’s definitely not pop bottles 😆

Andrew Demko invented that lock and he calls it a shark lock i believe.

Locks are slightly different. Snecx has talked about it multiple times on his IG.

When civivi takes the Demko Shark Lock (tm) and makes a worse version of it.
