@@GDA_Sam Tome of day is irrelevant. Driving while tired is pretty common. Who pulls over and goes to sleep for several hours while driving home from work? Now driving while literally falling asleep is the inexcusable part. If anyone's that tired, then yeah, they might want to pull over and get 30 minutes or so. But I'm pretty sure this guy just wasn't paying attention. The "I didn't see you coming excuse" tells you the driver was paying more attention to something other than driving.

No probably about it brother, Walter is TOAST!! Those RVs can not survive an impact like that and keep on working. That’s why I went with a pusher and mine is a converted retired Greyhound bus and they will take a hit like that and keep on rolling and ask ya for another one please. They are just built so much stronger than RVs are plus they’ve got the Detroit diesel power that won’t let you slow down.

A good strapp job is always worth it, I used to drive tilt trays and we had to strap each wheel, if the truck ever went on it side the car on the back had to stay on and not fall off..

Sorry about your luck. Glad to see the important bits made it in tact. Isn't it strange how we can get so attached to chunks of plastic and steel. I completely understand it though. In a way Cars have souls. Some have terribly bad attitudes, and don't want to be fixed. But we still love them. Some are faithful companions, that have never let you down, until the day they do, and you just want to burn it. And the next day, when the problem is fixed, its back to i love this pos. My current daily driver is a 92 Chevy Silverado. Regular cab, long box....(im 6'4" so there are more comfortable rides) but it was my grandfather's, and even though it's over 30 years old, its rock solid reliable.

Mate I’d be getting everything checked your trailer is stuffed your car is busted and if it lifted the RV it could be bent underneath and you will need to make sure his insurance covers it all. Wow the back of the RV is busted up. Big pay out so make sure you are not ripped off

You man have transmission issues soon because most vehicles that get rear ended or slammed from he back the transmission fails so after and you may have frame issues with the RV anyway glad your good and that's the main thing

You took something like that a hell of a lot better than I would. But I am way over protective of my ride. Seen my share of stupid folks not paying attention. Hell one time, had a girl straight up staring at her cell phone, driving, blow a red light when I was in my '72 GTS. Had I gone, straight Tbone but I saw her coming. She stabbed brakes when she was in the middle of the intersection. I just let that go. Another time, lady coming up behind me at a light, not even paying attention. I was at a red light and came to stop. State trooper at the intersection. I had no choice, I heard tires locking up, romped to 4500 and burned through the intersection while the lady behind me spun out. Trooper pulls me over and asked why, and I said "unless you noticed officer, the lady behind me was going to slam into my fulled restored muscle car which is near impossible to source parts for. NO WAY was I letting that happen." He wrote me up with a warning. Funny as hell, he wrote me up as a 1972 Pontiac GTO, and my car is NOT a GTO, it's a 1972 Gran Torino Sport. People frankly suck these days!!
