With freedom comes responsibility. Recent events prove that media moguls and the alleged journalists they employ are irresponsible and therefore need to be accountable for their appalling behaviour and the harm they cause. Hugh Grant is right. Tighten the laws for the protection of UK citizens.

Love it ! Freedom of speech needs to equal...reporting the TRUTH ! When false information is either reported by the press, or by the police*, this can exacerbate victimization for some individuals ! In addition, an omission of a fact, or the truth, in order to sway a reader, a jury, or someone else in a position of authority is libel and illegal ! *Not all police departments file false reports/redact/cover up. Although, in my personal situation, the lies that have been written are going to be added to the list of crimes that have occured to my infant daughter and myself !
