To sew the end piece of your tie, I found manually turning the machine to make the stitch works the best for me. I’m way newer to sewing than you are but I find I can make it really neat that way. I also press the folds before I sew and again after if needed. I’m really happy I found your channel. I plan to make the same dress with a similar fabric so it was cool to find this video 😊

Love the dress. I think it has a vintage look to it too. That blue looks really nice on you. My machine hates ties too. I usually hand sew the ends in the end. I love your sew alongs . 😁

Your dress is beautiful. I love watching your sew alongs…it is like spending the afternoon with my granddaughter! Lol. Here is another use for your ´favourite ´ hand sewing: hand baste the ends of your tie strap and it will stop it shifting while you sew. And finally, when you fast forward, it looks like you and Misty are dancing. So cute! ;)

Ahh thank you! I think what you can see is a magnetic pin holder. It is in the shape of a cat 🐱 and it has a suction cup that makes it stick to the machine, very handy 👍
