I know the phone is broken but it's always weird to see cut and break parts that we usually try to fix, like when looking at drop tests; certainly, however, the result is spectacular. Nice video as always.

This looks really great, but I agree with you that it is VERY overpriced. If their margins are not large I'm stuck seeing where the material costs are in the product that would justify a $70 price. Excellent work on this.

Very cool watching someone else do this. About 6 months ago I created my own template and made 10 of these using original 1st gen iPhones. I’ve been listing them on eBay and only have 2 left. Making the template took a while but benefit is being able to easily edit it based on the parts phone I use. I use popsicle sticks for the housing and screen to help the surface area of the glue. I created templates for iPhone X and Apple Watch, but haven’t gotten around to doing them yet. Love the videos. Keep up the good work!

I love this! I recently bought two iPhone SEs from 2016. One of them is still working and I might use it for Spotify with my speakers. The other one I was given as defective, as it is stuck in a boot loop but with some tinkering, thanks to your inspiration, I switched the logic board with the working phone and there seems to be a hardware defect with the broken phone. While I could get the phone to boot up it seems to have been a corporate-owned device and the seller does not respond to my messages anymore. I was totally thinking about disassembling the phone and putting it into such a frame to put it up for display!

6:23 I sadly have an E-Waste iPhone X too. It works perfectly fine, looks great and almost brand new and doesn't have any obvious defects. The only and biggest problem is the iCloud-lock it has. As I got this phone from someone working in a house-clearance company who bought it from the company itself in hope he could use it, I can't get anyone to unlock it because the first owner is most likely dead. I will be looking for a matching set of Face-ID sensor, earpiece, board and sim tray to fix that phone. As I got it for less than an original screen or housing would cost, it wasn't that of a bad deal.

He told me the company sells the good and fully working more expencive stuff in their store and because of some laws here in germany they would have to provide warranty and accept returns if they sell broken stuff in the store which would be really useless so he just gets the broken stuff from there and selling the stuff he doesn't need.
