Calderano conseguiu ser o divisor de águas para o tênis de mesa brasileiro, um orgulho do esporte nacional!

Just saw this video, so happy about his story and the challenges Hugo has surpassed. Being a TT player in a country where sexy sports such as football (or soccer), beach/volleyball, etc... this is a hard mountain to climb. I had the pleasure to meet Hugo in 2014 in Doha for the first time, pleasure, because of his "down to earth" qualities and sports athlete talent. As a Portuguese we spoke the same language, I was marvelled by his ability to engage with any top player. As I watched him almost overcome Dima with blistering BH shots down the line I told him he would be in the top 10 one day ! I was right. I met him again where I live now in Austria as he came to play at the Austrian Open. I wish him lots of success as I watch his amazing matches. He his blessed with an amazing family of course, who will be there for him and with him. Great video. Parabéns Hugo !!!! /Alex

Great video ^^ Hugo is the model for every young player. I follow him on Instagram, and I know how hard Hugo was training. His personal coach (from France) is a very good coach too. I can hear every French word with his accent 👍
