It just goes to shows you that any obstacle of Sasuke course in Japan is unforgiving to the rookies,veterans and grand champions. It's doesn't even care who you are or what you done of your run. In Sasuke 4 of fall season of year 1999, Kazuhiko Akiyama, who is first Japanese person to achieve total victory. But then, from Sasuke 6 to 10, this first Sasuke grand champion failed on Stage 1 5 times with his worst pefromances of failed Stage 1 is Sasuke 9, where Akiyama shocked everyone he touched the water at end of Quintiple Steps, which is first obstacle in spring season of year 2002. But he cleared Stage 1 2 times in Sasuke 11 and 12 of spring and fall season of year 2003. But then from from Sasuke 13,14 and 15, he failed on Stage 1 3 times. And last time Kazuhiko cleared Stage 1 is Sasuke 16 from winter season of year 2005. But then from Sasuke 17,20,22,24,25 and 28, he failed on Stage 1 6 times and made his retirement of Sasuke from winter season of year 2012, but then he made his comeback at Sasuke 40 from 2 years ago, he failed Stage 1. In Sasuke 24 and 27 from new year day of year 2010 and fall season of year 2011, Yuuji Urushihara was 3rd Japanese person and first Japanese person 2 time of Sasuke total victory, he made Stage 2 and 3 from Sasuke 28,29 and 30. Yuuji's worst peformances of failed run of Stage 1 from each of last 3 times is Sasuke 33 from spring season of year 2017 where he shocked everyone when he failed 2nd obstacle Rolling Hill. But then in Sasuke 34 of fall season of year 2017, he cleared Stage 1 from his annoucment his retirement if he fails Stage 1 4 times. But then, in Sasuke 35 of spring season of year 2018 and Sasuke 39 of year 2021, he failed Stage 1 where run out of time at Warped Wall and Double Warped Wall. In Sasuke 31 of year 2015 and 38 of year 2020, Yusuke Morimoto was 4th Japanese person and 2nd Japanese person to achieve 2 time Sasuke total victory as was youngest Japanese person to become Sasuke grand champion as age 23 from year 2015 and age 29 from year 2020. Yusuke's 2 time worst peformance of failed Stage 1 is Sasuke 37 of new year eve 2019, where he shocked everyone in the crowd where he failed Warped Wall since Sasuke 22(10 and half years ago) and Sasuke 39 of year 2021, he and Yuuji failed at Double Warped Wall when both of them run out of time. This Sasuke 41th compeption of year 2023, Sasuke 29 time legend veteran and Sasuke 2nd Japanese grand champion Makoto Nagano shocked everyone in the crowd where he failed on Quad Steps, which is first obstacle on Stage 1 and worst peformances of fails run on Stage 1 is Sasuke 22, where he failed at Slider Jump, Sasuke 24, where he fails the Jumping Spider by slipped his traction inside spider walk, Sasuke 25, where he failed at Circle Slider and Sasuke 26, where he failed once again Jumping Spider. That's is the what i called Sasuke grand champion of total victory curse made. That curse can try strike everytime if one of all 4 grand champion shocking everyone by fails on Stage 1 on shocking early exit or run out of time like Warped Wall, which we saw what happend to Yusuke Morimoto in Sasuke 37 and Sasuke 39 and Yuuji Urushihara in Sasuke 39. For veteran who doesn't achieve total victory, in Sasuke New Generation veteran, from Sasuke 27 and 30 finalist Ryo Matachi did advanced Final Stage twice, but his worst peformances of his Stage 1 fails each of 9 times, is Sasuke 40 from year 2022, Ryo shockingly went out on Rolling Hill when his speed lead him to big mistake. Tomohiro Kawaguchi was Sasuke 30 finalists, but his worst peformance of Stage 1 falis 7 times is Sasuke 33 where Tomohiro fails at Double Pendelum and this Sasuke 41, where he first time falied at Dragon Glider. 17 time veteran Hitoshi Kanno is Sauske 23 finalist, but his worst peformances of Stage 1 fails 9 times is Sasuke 33, where he shockingly fails on descent of Rolling Hill by risking high jumping to dismount. For Sasuke All Stars, Shingo Yamamoto and Toshihiro Takeda is legend veteran of Sasuke All Stars because Shingo is only one competed every Sasuke Ninja Warrior competiton and he was Sasuke 3 and 7 finalist and Takeda had most record of his Stage 3 appearance 13 times, but Shingo's worst peformances of Stage 1 fails 23 times(most record time of failed Stage 1) and Takeda's worst peformances of Stage 1 fails 12 times is Sasuke 31 where both of them shocking everyone of failed at Rolling Hill, which was first obstacle of that year 2015. Katsumi Yamada is Mr SASUKE, where he compete this Sasuke competition 30 times and he was Sasuke 3 finalists, his worst peformance of Stage 1 fails 19 times is Sasuke 39, where he failed at Quad Steps and he realized his foot touched the water as 4th steps is slippery because rainwater and he falied to dismount at Rolling Hill after his foot touched the water at Quad Steps and after that, Yamada knows that his embarrassing early falis run on Stage 1 by his foot touched the water at 4th Quad Steps is his new nightmare of his dream. That's how Sasuke All Stars and Sasuke New Generation Stars Stage 1 curse fails is made as that curse will strike again if each one of them failed Stage 1 once again. Even this grand champion Makoto Nagano knows that he shocked everyone when he get tripped at 1st step and failed at Quad Steps is his worst peformances of Stage 1 fails as he, annocuers, sidelines reporters, his fellow All Stars and everyone in the crowd can't believe and didn't expect that. And Makotoo Nagano is gonna have biggest nightmare after he went early exit after tripped 1st step and failed at Quad Steps and so the others is have that as well.

It goes to show you that this Stage 1 course is unforgiving to one of Sasuke All Stars and one of Sasuke New Generation. Even the grand champion can stumble and went early exit as well like what we saw that run before. It doesn't even care who you are or what you done of run. Makoto Nagano is now 2nd Japanese Sasuke Grand Champion to failed on first obstacle Quad Steps on Stage 1 after Kazuhiko Akiyama in Sasuke 9.
