Smart insertion basically means auto pick. The game picks the best components for your scepters.

Turn on smart insertion -> strive for as many components as possible -> synthesize as high lvl as possible -> reroll until you run out of rerolls or they're all red, goal is to combine them into higher lvls. You only read the star components (the ones that heavy augment scepter behavior). Side objective: get as many, preferably all scepters to gold. Side side objective: get as many curios as possible.

You don't need Ruan Mei tho, just be lucky You need her for extra option, which simply makes you get all option rewards as 1

At first I thought this was going to be fun like the Galactic Baseballer event. I now realize that no, this is not fun. I don't like this. I read all of this stuff and it now being so ridiculously luck-based whether you get what you need or not honestly just kills it. Tbh, think I'm just gonna bench this and finish the last two protocol levels in DU and the last four Conundrum levels in G&G... At least that's actually fun. :/

​@@flippedmasterguardianit is fun, but 99% of hoyo playerbase hate reading so, not a single person read what the component and the scepter do, so i doubt it would be fun for the majority, but if you know what you're doing, it is 100% victory, this gamemode is the easiest experience so far among all 4 (swarm, GNG, DU, unknowable)

@@Void_Everfrost understandable completely! Guess I haven't picked apart the broken combos yet 😅 Tbh, not very fun to experiment in this game mode. 100% true about the reading thing though. One of my runs, I read that there was a component that immediately makes (a random) speed component instantly act after every attack. Something similar exists for the speed components giving charge. No doubt there's probably some broken combo here but I really don't feel like trying to put it together anymore.

Free jade cant complaint, also im autoing after first boss (when scepter is weak) but after that autopilot never lose and yes, occurance/adventure/rewards are the best thing you can grab lol, save time also get you occurance+curio achievement jade done all the mission/achievement you can grab meanwhile DU keep killing me above conundrum 5

i'll be honest there is only one component in the entire mode that is actually pretty broken lol, i don't remember what it's called but it's a FuA component, it makes it so that when scepters or your characters attack all your characters gain a stack of of a buff called "pursuit" i think? or something along those lines, when you get 6 of it the character with the highest crit damage on your party gets an extra turn (it works like seele's resurgence so it doesn't consume your buff turns) and the attack they do during that extra turn hits like a truck, besides that most of the other components just kinda either deal damage, buff your party or debuff the enemies, so they're pretty meh
