@@ImmortalLlama That's because it's not actually technically a part of the Main 1-50 of Immortal Hulk. It's an off shoot of Immortal Hulk called Immortal Hulk: The Threshing Place. It's not even done by Ewing/Bennett. The Threshing place is written by Jeff Lemire (which explains why it's so good) and the art is done by Mike Del Mundo. Came out in 2020.

This is a great Hulk portrayal. Personally, not a fan of him killing the agents, but whatever, not too important. Big points to showing how caring he is. Hulk is Banner, he’s a reflection of Banner’s mental state and personality. He is just as loving as Bruce is, but he’s more open about it, so seeing an innocent little girl be turned into a monster would totally set him off. I love it

Like World War Hulk, he only killed one person in that comic and it was Miek, who had been responsible for the destruction of Sakaar and allowed the hulk to torture people who weren’t directly responsible for his planets death. That’s the hulk I like, less over the top violent. Just a preference thing though

But the Joker has an power that lets him heal no matter how badly crippled. It's also the reason even villains who'd kill on sight only cripples him severely when he interacts with them and betray them. It's more narrative related than healing factor and related to him breaching the 4th wall and gaining full knowledge that he's a character. It's why when he dies or kills someone he knows he'll/them will just return in the next issue. And Iean literally In Universe and not just the 'the writers want him around plot armor.

Wish we had more stories of monsters hunting monsters. Like a Villain or Monstrosity suddenly just decides to deal with the things more reprehensible than it using Evil ways. Heroes are too busy for the camera or sparing the wicked, and then when the wicked feel safe and cocky something with zero mercy just destroys them and everything they've built with the same amount of remorse they give their victims.
