I remember this as one of my favorite episodes of the series when I was a kid. Partly because of Mackenzie Phillips, who I knew from One Day a Time, partly because of the acid trip scene, and this finale. David getting trampled was a neat callback to the girl who was trampled and ended up paralyzed at an earlier concert. And the fact that that the Hulk 'saved' LIsa by revealing a truth about the reality of her situation she was essentially blind to.

When David was given Yellow Sunshine and hallucinated the Hulk after him was great. When the Hulk appeared during the concert, the audience thought it was part of the performance.

David was knocked down and stepped on, several times as he would try to make his way back to his feet with the frenzy crowd at this concert.. Something happened to me before at Rock show when i was younger, and i was glad i had someone saw me and helped me up...After the concert i remembered this episode from being a kid.. Luckily i had just a few bruises and pair of broken Glasses..

"glam metal" is a much newer term for that type of music that only started being used to describe it some 20 or so years ago, back in the 70s the term "Heavy metal" was a more common name describing bands using giant amps, electric guitars, face makeup, wigs, tight pants, platform boots etc etc...
