The prerecorded comments before the 1990 Rumble match, Hulk is wearing the durag, then he enters the match later wearing the headband. That along with the "Hulk Rules" shirt would've been a great addition to this figure.

I wonder, and im thinking way too much about it but will that kid that handed hulk that blanket in Orlando at Royal rumble 1990 see any royalties? I mean that was his blanket... however it would be cool for him to see his blanket immortalized

That blanket/sign was hanging in Hogan's shop in Orlando - I'd say that they likely bought it off the fan and if so, now that Hogan owns it, that might just part of his likeness Mattel has access to. Like the War Bonnet belongs to Hulk & Mattel used it.

Love the idea for this figure but a bit hard to justify if you have the Elite mainline version. A sweaty , post-match Hogan head could have really put this one over the top. Maybe the closed eye head from the Mega-Powers set?

This and wrestlemania fig technically are 2025 figs. I personally wouldn’t count this in my top Hogan figs of the year but you do you. Only other ones I believe on the horizon are the Legends UE Hulk Still Rules and Retro Rip but those probably will be 2025. There’s also the Hogan that comes in the Anoa’i Legacy pack (old Afa head) lol.

Hogan was one of my favorites when I was younger. As a kid I thought What's up with Hulk Hogan's hair? It's blonde but yet silkin like that of a Chinese man & he has the skin of a hotdog 🌭
