This was EXTREMELY POWERFUL in so many ways. The way Hulk, and his sister, let us all into their pain and anguish brought on by their father was so hard hitting. Hulk took that pain and turned it into gains both physically and mentally and shared it with the world and didn't hold back the tears or sorrow. I held back the tears until 21:00. This is heavy. I have a soso relationship with my father but I appreciate that when I do talk to him he encourages me and tells me positive things. He barely calls and checks up so I always resented him that my friends Dads were heavily in their lives and my Dad only called on holidays and birthdays. I'm grateful that I have a relationship at all now I take it for what its worth. I love my Dad. When you think you got it bad someone else has it 10x worse.

WOW. I watched the video from 8 years ago and was truly inspired by Kevin. Til this day, when I hit the bench, I hear CT yelling "Hulk Smash!". I clicked on this video thinking, "Great, he's back! Kevin is gonna catch a case when he murders those sets at the gym". This was NOT about battling weights. This was about battling demons...and a very specific one. I’m happy y’all overcame y’all “father”. That pain made you great Kevin. It all makes sense why you are so powerful and you are so great with kids. You took that pain and turned it into power and purpose. The true definition of turning shit to sugar. A lot of the greatest in the world have a story to tell that explains their consistency and discipline. A more normal person finds every way to avoid puttin in work and people like Kevin find every reason to Put the work in vast majority of the time. Much respect big homie!
