Was born in Bev , but grew up from a baby in Hull. Left four decades back, but that time till i was 21, were the happiest days of my life i reckon. Hull has changed too much since...didn't recognise half of it when i went back five years ago.

Just modern pubs? I’d love to see pictures of The Sportsman from about 60 years ago (my Mum was about 4-5 then and my grandparents went there) and The Swallow from the 80s I was a kid and used to watch my Granddad go from our bedroom windows. We passed the sportsman as part of my Granddad’s funeral procession.
