Hi, i am not talking about a specific RO brand, but in general. And there are my question: After installing a new RO system, and powering it on, the carbon filters are releasing some black dust, is this harmful for the membrane, if it is how to avoid it.

Some RO systems have a built in bypass for the membrane that you can open to bypass it while flushing the carbon filter but no, the carbon is not harmful to the membrane.
