Was about to order when your website showed the price $267 in my cart. Then when I was checking it out it switched to $380 last second. That is the same price as my local plumbing store. So support local. Not sure why your website was deceptive with the pricing.

My water smells bad. It’s weird because when I change the filter the smell goes away. This time it didn’t. The water softener has salt but doesn’t seem to be going down and has water on top of it. I don’t think it’s working. What do you think?

Thank you very much for this video. It is very helpful, especially the idea about the plumber's grease. The only thing that could be confusing is that in your mock-up display, you show the supply side on the right side but actually it's on the left side (you can also see the arrow in your video). Thanks again!

Hi Gary, I've been watching some of your videos, which are very informative, thank you! I haven't seen this topic covered, but would like to hear your thoughts on this. We live in a hard water area and have had our RO machine for about 3 years, we change the filters regularly about every 6-8 months. We had the filters changed in August and this time we decided to add the ''minerals' to remineralize the water and see if we liked it. It's been fine, but about 3 weeks ago I started noticing some white build up at the bottom of our kettle (glass and stainless steel, so very noticeable). I'm uncertain if this build up would be from the minerals, I'm able to wipe it away easily, but today I noticed some flaky bits that made me think it was limescale, perhaps it is slow limescale build up. Since installing the RO machine, we've always had crystal clear water and no issues with limescale, but I recall the original technician that helped install it saying that if I ever did notice limescale, it's a sign that something is wrong with the system. Where should I start to troubleshoot this issue? Could it be the minerals or should I be concerned about the machine not working anymore and which part to replace? Or maybe the whole machine needs replacing? Thanks for your help and the great videos!

My wellpump delivers 45 psi water pressure...will that work? How many gallons will the filters process water before needing replacement? Also...how can the treated water be checked to make sure system is working as promised?
@water_estore6 күн бұрын
Yes, 45 psi is fine. The amount of gallons depends on how much is being filtered out. Filters last about 12 months for a typical family of 4. You would need to test the TDS of the water, it should be 10% of the source water. For example, 200 ppm going in, 20 ppm going out. Awesome Videos, just wondering the drain hose size? 1/2inner 5/8 outer and which type of hose ? Thanks
@water_estore6 күн бұрын
We usually use 1/2" pex and attach it to the system with a 3/4" FPT to 1/2" pex fitting.
@matthewhubeny87555 күн бұрын
@@water_estore I bought this from your shop (Clack WS1 Drain Elbow Nut & 5/8 Poly Tube insert) but 1/2 pex won't fit the poly tube insert. I then tried another clear tube the insert fit but then the hose was too big for the nut.

Need to know at what point in the process do I put the 7 lbs of air pressure in the tank, before water, after water?
@water_estore6 күн бұрын
It goes into the tank when the tank is empty but keep in mind that these needs to be a total of 7 psi in the tank when empty, not 7 psi more.

Almost never, only if your pressure is above 75 psi.

hi Gary, love your videos. Using an in out valve on a carbon filter. So no backwash. Seeing that it does not back wash do i really need to load up gravel on the bottom of the carbon filter?

I would because you definitely don't want to wash that carbon out during a surge.

Hope someone see's this posting and can reply: working on ws1 for first time and 1) have the leak through the drain elbow ... so already order that but here is my main question 1) there is nothing on the valve unit signifying its version (i see subtle differences in facings with buttons)---- --- my ws1 has the red safety clips in the back and has the 5 buttons on the facing in a single row. 2) how do I know the version AND is the internal check valve with the perferations around the perimeter the one I need. I wanted to replace this value for iron sulphur removal .... but not sure this is correct check valve as you demonstrated in one of your videos.
@water_estore8 күн бұрын
1) You have a WS1 (only) no EE or CC. Your valve is not compatible to be used as an iron filter. 2) We never need to source the version, so I don't know. This is the internal check valve for all Clack WS1 versions. waterestore.com/products/clack-ws1-v3957-internal-check-valve-for-fob-c-k
