I would NEVER use human hair for any wigs or extensions. For this reason alone, you have no idea of the origins or situation for the acquisition of this hair. I will always use synthetic for my braid extensions and wigs. Or just wear my natural hair.

Every year I set a small goal and pray to lord Murugan(Thiruchendur temple) that if I achieve this goal I will give my hair as a offering (I cannot offer other body parts without any pain other than my hair:):)) I think I have given my hair as a offering more than 15 times, most of the Indian does the same thing as of me. We set a goal and pray to our favorite god once he makes it successful we sacrifice our hair as a token of thanks. Also saving your hair regularly will make your hair stronger and denser(Personal experience).

I always send positive vibes and prayers to hair and the people it may have come from, I'm very grateful for it I feels so happy and more confident because of it, I want all the best of things for the donors with many blessings sent to them. I certainly hope they are being compensated fairly, especially for the joy they bring to many women. I of course do not agree with any person being exploited for hair, I actually wouldn't buy it if I had any knowledge that they where being taken advantage of.
