Im 50 now and loved them since I bought Dare with my pocket money! Seen them Lets Rock Liverpool last week and OMG amazing! We were drenched and they were the final act but so worth it. I danced, sung along and let myself go x

Sonically they sound like some form of tribute band. The soft synths used are missing all of the characteristics from the original recordings.Yes all of the notes and parts are there and its a live reproduction of the song, but all of the charm of the sound has gone. If you go and watch Erasure/Soft Cell / Depeche Mode, all of they key components of the originals are there (and not just through samples), which makes a massive difference.
