A nice walk up the hill. You sure couldn't sneak up on anyone with all the leaves crunching underfoot! That is, or was, my favorite form of exercise, walking in the woods. Going up hills so steep you had to pull yourself from tree to tree and coming back down was sliding from tree to tree. It's fun! Seeing hunters or hunting dogs would send me back towards home though! Didn't want any encounters. It has been a beautiful day and glad you got out to trek about in it! Thanks for taking us along. I enjoyed it! Ruby knows what all critters have been under that rock now. She has no fear!
