how do you do a proper verifications on applicants resumes if they are genuinely or fake? This is also part where HR's fail to do effectively and has caused lost of job.

Good question. It depends on the situation and how important the information is to the employer. Requesting official transcripts can be done to verify degrees or other academic credentials. As far as actual work history calling an employer to verify dates of employment and job responsibilities is fairly standard. Some employers even go as far as to conduct background checks through a third party to independently verify the information. All of these things represent a cost, so the employer would need to determine if the value of the new information is worth the added cost and time required to obtain it.

I was on my phone and it was late or I would of said: I am in the process of putting my team together for a start up I want to launch in February. So far I have one intern/ partner who is in his 2nd year of college here at UNM. He is studying Entrepreneurial Studies. I also have another partner.
