Broadbent hope this helps : When fighting cannibals (IDK about hardmode), if you hit one with the katana 3 times, they will fall and then you can finish them. Instead of keeping hitting them, for example 3 hits they fall,but if you hit them 4 times they don't fall. Hope this makes sense.

For the human village, what if you added a community garden and/or community bonfire area? Or just some way of making it seem like a close-knit community rather than just 'people that happen to live in close proximity to each other'. Could be a town hall, could be a meeting area, could be a theater... You could even add a classroom if it tickles your fancy. Educate those kiddos after the days' work is done!

Not trying to be mean or whatever or a know it all. But that spot is hot for cannibals to patrol thru. It is a good video but if you want some advice for survival I wouldn’t build there. The katana hole is in front of the first house. That’s the way you want to go if you don’t want to fight the armsy and cannibals
