That's why I would question why people would bother feeling contempt/disgust or Rage and Hatred in the first place it's because they cared enough to bother at least giving it judgement they still had a lack of power. The ones with power literally don't notice your existence unless there weakened. So in a way, weakness causes humility. The fact that this guy even opened his toungue to explain his feelings shows he at least can see the ant and he's not totally blinded to the weak. Hope isn't completely gone for that world it's barely miniscule but it's present. The fact that he had to bother mentioning humans were beneath him still had that like 99.9 percent arrogance but like that slight 0.001 percent of insecurity was their by their presence so he still feels like an annoyance. The feelings haven't completely left. There's also a slight chance he might get shocked by a humans presence. I don't think he'd go to such an extreme extent of faking his emotions that seems beneath him. He's actually bored and angry and disgusted and extremely annoyed at the fact that these people are so beneath him like he wants them to be powerful but he's sad that they aren't and can do absoloutely nothing to help them because he's so powerful. He's angry that such weak people can act so arrogant. He has no challenge he feels empty inside and lonely.

That's the point: Even though Father claims to have purged himself from his sins, he still acts in very sinful ways: He desires power at all costs(Lust), is envious of humans(Envy), craves a family and friendship(Greed), gets upset whenever something doesn't go his way(Wrath), proclaims himself a God (Pride), devours more and more souls (Gluttony) and lets others do his dirty work (Sloth).
