Maximus is such a good character and he did such a good job as an actor. He is so soft spoken, acts like a boy. He, like a lot of people havn't had a chance to grow up, more so being so sheltered by the brotherhood. Him and Lucy are both naive, just in different ways and its a shame people be hating on my boy Maximus. He learning, just in different ways from Lucy learning how to live on the surface.

@@Jackex Exactly, this! I’ve seen endless comments on his supposed lack of intelligence when they are misidentifying his inexperience. He’s part of a cult that has every reason to want to repress/stagnant what he knows/how he understands things to mold him into a tool to do their bidding. Watching Lucy’s affection/example morph his programming from the BOS into a positive force was great.

I love seeing Matt Berry in the show, and his line about his character and Walton Goggins's character about both being products is really powerful with how true it is. It is kind of sad seeing how happy Maximus was in the vault since it was the first time in his life that he truly got to breathe and enjoy the pleasures and simplicity of living underground in the Vault and never experience the fear of death or war on a constant basis. Love seeing Chris Parnell in the show, too. It has always been hilarious, and every time I hear him, I just hear Jerry from Rick and Morty. Max's line *"You wanna make my cock explode?"* might be my favourite line the entire show!🤣

Yea in the games Gulpers are just mutated skinks/salamanders, Gulper in the show is closer to an FEV creature than anything else but I'm not trying to spoil FEV in case they explore it more in the future which they most likely will. I REALLY want to see Centaurs they are horrifying 😳

@@pieck5460 it had those external gills on the sides of its head like an axlotl salamander has, plus being "born" from a human host, I guess added those finger teeth and human like eyes, but yeah, definitely seemed to have some FEV influence in there somewhere for sure

The fascinating thing about the game is the fact that you’ll be exploring the map, come across a random vault (completely by accident), and then suddenly realize that a lot of creepy shit went down over the decades. It’s not even something that you were expecting or intending to find. The show really nails that aspect of the game.
