Respect to Ruben’s dad for waiting for her when he tried to release her into the wild. I choked up when she said Cindy came running back to the car. So glad she has her family that have stuck with her no matter what.

Respect? He took her there and considered abandoning her in the first place. If Cindy had not ran back right away, she would have died horribly thinking Reuben’s mom abandoned her. My uncle once doing something similar with a dog, but also had a change of heart. Even though he brought the dog back, he was rightfully kicked out of my aunt’s house and no one in the family has spoken to him since (besides his children). My other uncles (aunt’s brothers) came to beat him up and make sure he truly regretted what he did. No second chances for heartlessness.

This is why I hate the exotic animal pet trade, most often they are kept in cages, cannot be free, fed a horrible diet. IF anyone gets a chance watch Chimp Crazy, people often buy Chimps as babies, cuz they are cute or small then they grow up and they cannot handle them, .RIP Travis RIP Buck, It's sad, I wish people would leave them to be wild or to grow up with a family like Cindy's but not all are that lucky.
