Best Day TRADING Set Up 2024 - Ultrawide Curved Monitors, Cable Management, Trading PC Build

I tried this setup as well for half an hour and quickly experienced neck pains. I still don't have a perfect solution for screens as a coder, but I try to keep things simple and ditch monitor arms when possible (I have 3 by the way). My current setup is a 27" 4k at eye level, 16" MBP, iPad 11" sidecar on left of laptop,, and a 13.3 1440p portable monitor on right of laptop. Great thing about this setup is that its easy to break down and bring to the office or a coworking space.

I have been using Ultrawide for over an year now ( Flat not Curved ) and i must say these guys deserve a shout out for making things easier . Easy on eye and does away with multiple monitors . On top of this , the On-Screen control software is a Big Bonus .

I finally moved to curved monitors about a year ago... to watch both my Futures trading accounts and all my Private Equity Fund fully automated FX accounts. So far so good and will probably stick with curved monitors in the future. Getting your PCs off the floor is important too... keep them as clean as possible so they have best reliability!

Howdy, I use both types. My 3 curved monitors are my "in my face" trades in play on the main screens. My other 9 monitors are 24" -- that supports news feeds and industry specific stuff. I use 12 monitors and 4 computers and a nice large desk. I have 4 keyboards and 8 mice that are all colour coordinated and I (usually) get the right mouse and keyboard for the right screen. All of these tools have paid for themselves thousands of times over. Information is more important than gold.

Very nice setup. I got a 5 foot by 3 foot, Uplift electric standing desk a couple of years ago, that is my favorite purchase as a day trader. I can change computers and monitors several times but that desk is not going be with me as long as it keeps working. The Corsair keyboard is a good choice too, it’s quiet for a gaming keyboard and I can setup the lights the way I like them. You have a better camera too. It much clearer than in the old days when you were in a bedroom somewhere. Jokes are still the same though.. silly as ever. But that’s your charming personality that keeps us coming back to see you.

What works well for me may not work well for others. Be sure to be comfortable with your system and not be on the endless upgrades path. I trade on a Ryzen 5 machine I built, good, not great video card, 16gb of ram and 50" flat HD TV as monitor. ToS platform. I sit about 6 feet away. I dig what I have. It was cheap and it works fantastic. 1200 bucks in my setup. No plans to change anything in near future.

ultrawides are amazing. currently my setup is mac so i have 2 ipads that i use with sidecar so i can use for extra charts / scalping screeners. i also have a 29" ultrawide because i can fit it in a suitcase (its not curved so it takes up less suitcase space as well & is lighter - v important). if im at a coffe shop for the day, my setup is macbook pro with the 2 ipads controlled with sidecar. i also have at home a mac mini which is my file server as well as connected to the TV to show trading view charts. that i leave on 24hrs a day. having a monitor with USB-C power delivery is also a boon. then you can connect your laptop & charge it at the same time with just 1 cable.

Use a 4 screens (24") connected to a Lenovo P320 tiny that has a Nvidia Quadra with 4 HDMI mini ports. More than adequate for TOS. Connect via wifi (5 GHz-802.11 ac) While I find your 38" curved monitors sleek, the price of 2 of those is more than 3 times what I paid for the four 24: Also used a 4 port monitor stand that I purchased on AMZN. Having a computer with 4 HDMI or display ports, a good GPU, and a solid stand are the most important. (Of course the trading platform/software is also a critical factor), but this is a h/w video 😁

I use a 49” Samsung odyssey for my Mac mini and it’s a pretty neat setup. Can run a PVC Cord cover/concealer and use double side tape to stick under and down a side of a wall. Velcro tape works wonders too.

Good to see you smiling so much. Yeah curved monitor is better even for retouching and editing as well. I'm planning two 4k 32" curved, now I've only one 4k with 2 1080p. For cable management I use straps, clips, zip ties and such. Wow, you could have this setup long time before, probably not the modern monitor makes the good trader. Great setup, enjoy!

Enjoyed your presentation and humor. When choosing monitors I prefer monitors that have low blue light and no flicker. Has made a big difference on my eye strain. Your setup is nice. Although at one time I had 13 monitors (for different reasons) crazy I know, I now only focus on 1 market with multiple data streams to maintain my laser focus/accuracy and sanity. :)

Just get an LG OLED TV 48 or 55' (4k 120Hz) and split it with displayfusion software, this is much better than every monitor setup.

I use 2 x 27" (4K) monitors. It is not always enough, but workable. 4K helps as I get overall between two monitors 7680 x 2160 dots.

Instead of size, I went for pixel density. I like my LG 5k2k cause it packs a ton of pixels and it's only 34" instead of 39". I don't really want to move my head too much when I'm working. Travel setup wise I'm currently rocking my Asus Zenbook Duo with my Jsaux FlipGo. So 4 monitors. Will add a tablet for all the communication and research stuff on the side to separate everything from the trading execution.

I was on a budget but I bought two Samsung U32R590C 32" 4k curved monitors has 16:9 aspect ratio important to me, the cost, one I got for $250. black Friday sale last year and second for $300 on sale this year. I have them side by side. I tried 3 different laptops and settle on the MSI 75 raider 17" screen I7 RTX 2070 16GB ram 144hz, 500GB SSD 1TB HDD this lap top allows two monitor to plug in @ 4k 60Hz. cost was $1299. bought this year. Electric adjustable table Famisky dual motor, 55" bought this year $300. Logitech wireless keyboard and mouse $30. Would not change a thing love my set up

A laptop and a smartphone still work just fine for me I can create multiple screens to monitor within a platform when I need but that is JUST me. PERHAPS I will need a more elaborate setup in the future.
