Lord JESUS I need your strength. I’m struggling providing for my children. I’m so discouraged. As a single mom Lord Jesus I’m overwhelmed. I have two beautiful boys both are special needs. I’m overwhelmed because they require so much from me. Every month is a struggle to not end up on the streets. Lord grant me strength to provide for my sons. Keep your eye only on the Lord...be wary of anyone sending you to "someone" who will help you financially. You're a child of God. He, the King, will help you...His burden is light...His yoke is easy. Trade your burden with His. ❤ I'll be praying for you ❤

@rosewhite9415 I would never do that in vain please don't attack me for trying to help someone. What ever you do to the least of my people you do unto me Jesus says. I am very financially blessed because God has shown me a blessing I have responded to. It helped me it can definitely help anyone. Count your blessings. You should be weary of anyone trying to block you from your blessing.

Excellent words to reflect and meditate on. There was another Saint who told a demon to leave to which the demon said ' I will leave if you answer me one question: are you a sheep or a goat?'. The Saint answered ' I am a goat because only God knows who belongs to His sheep'. At that the demon screeched saying now I must leave because you have shown humility in your answer..... and he departed from him. So many similar accounts of demons and evil fleeing from the humble so we all need to heed that command.

Hm... I don't think this is the right definition of humility, particularly that part about St John Vianey saying it should annoy you if you are praised.. If you are truly humble, you let go of your ego and you don't think about yourself. To be annoyed when praised is a form of false pride because you are thinking about how you are annoyed at somebody praising you. Instead, take the compliment and be on your way. Like a little child who's mum says "Good job dear!" - be happy, smile and then continue with your day.

9:20 This priest needs to practice some intellectual and ministerial humility! I am Catholic and married a non Catholic Christian. The church allows it if you contact your archdiocese for approval, are married in either faith tradition of the couple by a priest or bona fide minister of the non Catholic faith tradition, agree to raise any children Catholic…We met all the stipulations. And a Catholic priest is to NOT question a marriage; the presumption is always that a marriage is valid if a couple made a considered effort for it to meet the church’s conditions. I am tired of these clueless priests getting up in the pulpit and judgmentally spouting falsehoods as dogma!
