Flexible NiCop brake line might work for less weight, any reason why you wouldnt want to use that ?

I assume you are in reference to the hand bendable automotive stuff? Nickel copper line is metal and the line these calipers are made to use happens to be ptfe reinforced with kevlar or something similar. This plastic line for lack of a better description is much easier to bend and a lot lighter than nicop.

@@SV-cg3sk the stuff from "Italy" is about 20 bucks a foot. The Chinese stuff from the other side of China is about 40 bucks for 3 meters of it. I might have 80 in the lines when I am all said and done plus fittings.

Yes, cutting the threads on the lathe after finding out that not even snapons m16x1.5 die is that robust to cut more than 1 set of threads
