Great Channel. Keep up the good work. I am in the process of repainting a black 2006 h2. I started to get some checking in the base coat on the top of the hood only. This led me to finding out the hood is a SMC material that takes some skill to paint. I guess I am learning a new hobby😀. I want to say keep the videos coming but that might be like wishing you bad luck.

Hi is there a way to convert radio frequencies on a oem radio? US radios show odd numbers, but euro/uk frequencies are even numbers, therefore they dont work well here :(

Thansk again for your question (maybe asked before?) see kzbin.info/www/bejne/n3vUYmeOaNZkepo It absolutley fine to ask again, to add a couple of things, my OEM H2 radio was Canadian (also a lot of odd frequencies), though I'm not aware of any changes being made to it. Changing the Radio regional tuning set-up wise, a Tech2 diagnostic can do "re-learn" to un-lock radios, but I'm not sure it can go beyond that (incidentally the radio also generates the chimes) Using a very new Robertson digital radio to auto tune, I found the following: Radio1 tunes = 98.90Mhz, Radio2 90.50MHz, Radio4 to 92.70Mhz, BBC WM 96.60MHz, so a mixture. I can nudge it +/- 0.05MHz and yes you're right going 0.1MHz off-tune has a detrimental effect (the auto-tune finds the exact center frequency every time) I've also double checked on the H2's Pioneer (AVIC-F77DAB) FM radio (only ever use DAB) and it confirms a lot of BBC channels are ODD but again there some stations that are even. The Pioneer found multiple settings for the same channel, I guess if a signal is strong enough it counts it as a "Hit" So changing your radio to "EVEN" might mean you win and loose stations. Presumably "SEEK" and/or "SCAN" can't find the "sweet spots" either (even though the displayed freq may be wrong) ? Also if your H2 antenna signal is weak (bad connection) it could effect signal quality. If you are coming to the American Speedfest at Brands Hatch on Sunday June 12th I'll happily take a look.

@@hummerfixes hi ! Yes ill be at speed fest. Yellow h2 s99hum. Also, where can i get replacement radio illumination bulbs, several have stopped working. I managed to get a set of replacement radio buttons and fit them, but now some lights are not going

I see the guy's are pushing a radio swap for something a bit more modern :-) As you may know, I did strip down a radio but stopped short of looking at the lamps, did the HVAC, so may be similar process?
